What we are building

SmallerKit is a collection of focused browser media utilities. The first tool compresses video toward a chosen file-size limit.

Why local processing

For supported files, local processing can avoid uploading personal media to a conversion server. It also keeps the first version simple: no account, no cloud video storage and no watermark.

What comes next

We plan to add focused video, audio and GIF utilities where the browser can provide a useful experience. Features will be added only when their limitations can be explained clearly.
