Your files stay local.

Video processing

SmallerKit processes the video you choose in your browser. SmallerKit does not upload your video bytes, filename or compressed result to a SmallerKit server.

Hosting data

The hosting provider may receive ordinary request information such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and pages requested. Hosting providers control their own logs and retention.

Advertising

No advertising or analytics script is enabled at this stage. The page layout contains hidden, empty ad locations so monetization can be added later without redesigning the tool. Before advertising is activated, this policy must be updated to name the provider, explain any cookies or identifiers it uses, and provide consent controls where required.

Local files and downloads

Removing a selected video or closing the page releases this app's references to the chosen file. Files you download remain on your device. Your browser, extensions and operating system may have separate privacy behavior.
